Do you know that January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month? In light of this, former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Isabella Ayuk, has decided to organize a cervical cancer awareness campaign in Calabar.
Her foundation, Isabella Ayuk Foundation is a charity organization that supports, teaches and cares for people in rural communities that are prone to health challenges. The foundation also provides educational assistance through a scholarship scheme, skill acquisition programs and others programs.
During the awareness campaign, the Isabella Ayuk Foundation will provide free cervical cancer prevention education and screening services to women in Calabar.
They’ll provide information on how to reduce cervical cancer morbidity and mortality through early detection, public and preventive education and also encourage girls and women to go through regular screening & vaccination.

The awareness and prevention campaign will hold on January 19th 2019. It’ll be at Calabar Municipal Council, Off Ndidem Usang Iso Road, Calabar. The walk starts at 6 am while the vaccination/screening will start at 9 am.
