When it comes to fashion, colours are always going to be in style. From neutrals, pastels to solid neon hues. However, there are times where different colour palettes take centre stage all at once.
Everyone knows that neon colours like lime and hot pink have been the ‘it’ colour for a while (still is) but fashionistas are delving towards a more toned-down palette for their off duty styles. From monochrome pairings to a mix of white and black, see how the ever classic neutral palette is being paired on holiday.
Black & White Pairings
If you didn’t think your everyday essentials could be reworked for your off duty days, blogger, Fisayo Longe is serving cues. She made a tie detail with the shirt around the midriff and accessorized casually to make the ensemble more relaxed. We ‘stan’ this look because we absolutely love the idea of restyling clothes.
Entrepreneur, Abisola Kola Daisi also made a case for a white button down but she paired hers with a graphic logo pleated skirt and finished off her look with black sneakers. Remember what we said about everyday essentials for off duty styles, that applies!
Kika Osunde gave us her version with a black on black pairing finished off with white sneakers and a neutral toned body harness. Her metallic purse was all the glam dose her look needed.
Monochrome White Look
Lounging in an airy short white dress with an halter neckline and ultra-feminine details on it paired with a matching sizeable raffia bag seems like the way to go just as Shewa Jay has shown and we are interested. The clean palette took the look to a whole new height and we love how easy yet fashionable it turned out.
Monochrome Black Look
Pairing black pieces is like the easiest trick in the book but blogger, Charlie Kamale just put a spin on hers by adding textures. She paired a chopped distressed denim with a sheer organza shirt and a mini snakeskin purse. She definitely scored points as this trick clearly elevated her look.
