Ankara was certainly a thing on the Fashions Finest Africa 2018 runway!
Almost every newly introduced brand on the platform had Ankara done as a look or as a part of looks for the different collections presented. The versatile piece was everywhere on the runway making instant style inspirations.
From making the versatile pieces as a whole with intricate accents, making it an accent on a look or plain making it into a bold look; co-ords were a major style steal on the runway! Keerah’s Fashion made the versatile piece standout in her presentation crafting aesthetically pleasing styles for ladies as well as the men.Think patch work details on shirt, summer shorts, ruffle details on blouses, as an overlay accent on sheer capes and so on. The new brand made a show of the loved piece on the runway.
SGTC did an eclectic mix of the rich prints on an array of looks; dense shift dresses, pallazzo pants, flare bottoms, as accents on sleeves, as an underlay on sheer looks and so on.The brand is known for its bold print mixes.
Adejo worked in the vibrant prints on some of her looks off the runway. The rich colours pop as details on ruffled hemlines, sultry bustier, pleats accent on mono strap jumpsuit, mini bandeau dresses, flared pants and some more styles.
