How to wear a pleated skirt? Easy. How to wear 1 pleated skirt in many ways? Easier…thanks to Veronica Odeka!
We hope your Independence Day was restful because it’s time to get you back in the fashion game!
Now, we know looking for what to wear can be daunting. Trust us, the 1 hour we spent deciding between 2 black skirts is proof. So, we asked a very vital question. How do we wear the same skirt in multiple ways? You know, without people asking if we’re homeless. And we found the answer – Stylist, Veronica Odeka.
A few hours ago, Veronica’s official work page posted how to wear a pleated skirt in more ways than one. We couldn’t hide our excitement, we just had to share. So, if you’re looking for answers, look no further.
Just because you’ve probably worn this skirt a number of times, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t rock it well. Veronica spiced up her skirt with a floral print buttoned up shirt and high heel sandals. We love the play on colours, and definitely, think you should follow suit when rocking yours.
If you’re looking for a more casual slay, then this look is just right for you. Here she looks very relaxed but still chic in a top with attached pleats paired with red flats. The great thing about skirts is, you can dress them down with flats, or elevate them with heels. Your choice!
Go for something more eccentric with an unexpected pop of colour. We totally love how Veronica added this blue sleeveless jacket to her look, creating a whole new look. You can also play with prints to give your outfit more character.
Take things down a notch with a simple blouse paired with your favourite skirt. This dark blue lace top looks simple yet chic paired with the pleated skirt. The subtle contrast undoubtedly works in the outfit’s favour.
Would you judge us if we stole this look entirely? We know we’re meant to be here for you but, THIS! The femininity of the top compliments the skirt perfectly and her bow tie shoes adds a playfulness we like. Veronica come and style us now?!
Anyway, we hope this helped. Or at least made you follow her on Instagram.
