About That Curvy Life (ATCL) Collective recently made history as the first ever all curvy/plus fashion brand to showcase at Arise Fashion Week. ATCL featured three womenswear brands Sally Bawa, FIA and Manoshia on the runway. People, Latasha Ngwube and her ATCL brand gave us quite a killer show.
For About That Curvy Life, some of Nigeria’s finest curvy celebrities hit the runway strutting their stuff. And, they brought so much confidence and class to this thing called plus size fashion. As expected, OAP Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi; thespian, actor and Producer, Bikiya Graham Douglas and chef Feyi Luther Mbanugo walked the runway and made the crowd come to life.
These ladies are out here doing it for the plus fashion, femininity and diversity and we are totally proud of them.
Other celebrity plus size models that walked for the ATCL collective include TV host and fashion influencer Taje Prest; Lagos Talks FM OAP Ore Onile Ere and many more.
Like AboutThatCurvyLife rightly described it, it was a moment of empowerment for millions of women across the continent.
Because, these diverse body types walked for their respective designers to the delight of their fans, the audience present and the cameras. Most importantly, they did all these to the delight of women underrepresented by fashion both within and outside the continent.
That said, check out runway photos of About That Curvy Life Collective showcase at Arise Fashion Week.
