In addition to being a backup singer for Whitney Houston, she has also lent vocals to Kelly Clarkson, Mary J. Blige, Andrea Bucelli, George Michael, Blu Chantell and Chaka Chan.
5. She made her acting debut in 2011
Tiwa appeared in a stage adaptation of Tyler Perry’s For Coloured Girls alongside Nollywood veterans, Joke Silva and Ireti Doyle.
