Lagos Fashion Week 2018: Maybelline New York Showcase Featuring Ex-BBNaija Stars

Lagos Fashion week 2018
‘Face Meets Art’ really with Maybelline New York and their showcase at Lagos Fashion Week 2018 wasn’t bad at all!

Lagos FashionWeek 2018 held last week from the 25th to the 27th. And if you didn’t hear about it, where were you girl??? It was a really great event all through. There were so many beautiful collections from your favourite designers and then some. On the last day of the show, Maybelline New York; the official make-up sponsor of the event had a showcase showing some very interesting and bold make-up looks.

The showcase had celebrities like TV host Bolanle Olukanni, Adunni Ade and ex reality TV stars, Bambam and Khloe walk the runway in make-up looks created by the brand’s artistic director, Bimpe Onakoya.

See the looks below:

We loved how doll-like, Bolanle looked with this make-up. The bold black eyeliner with the sprinkle of sequins around her tear duct area looked just perfect with the nude lips.

Adunni Ade had quite the Egyptian goddess vibe with this look. The streaks of black on her eyelid and blue metallic lips made her look very dark and mysterious and we love it!

Bambam’s look featured lots of metallic eye shadows smudged on her eyelid to create an exaggerated cat-eye effect.

Khloe looked very smoldering with the intense smokey eye, nude lips and messy hair.

Overall the make-up was costumey and festive so maybe not suitable for your everyday look but they’re definitely inspiration for when you’re going for a costume party. What do you think? Would you wear any of this looks off the run-way?

If you missed rest of the showcase from the Lagos fashion week 2018, You can catch up here.
